Annual Closure Calendar

At Moab Little Sprouts, we believe families deserve predictable, reliable childcare they can plan around. To support working parents and minimize surprises, we publish all of our scheduled closures one year in advance. This allows families to coordinate time off, arrange alternative care if needed, and feel fully informed about our schedule throughout the year. Our closure calendar aligns closely with the local school district holidays and breaks, making it even easier for families with older children to stay coordinated.

2025/2026 Projected Closures

Vacation Day: Friday, June 13th

Independence Day: Friday, July 4th

*Added: License Renewal Inspection: July 11

Pioneer Day: Thurs & Fri July 24th & 25th (open July 24th Due to Inspection)

First Day of School: August 14 - Open late at 9am

Labor Day: Monday, September 1st

Thanksgiving Break: Wednesday - Friday, Nov 26th - 28th

Christmas Break: Monday - Friday, Dec 22nd - Dec 26th

Martin Luther King Jr Day: Monday, January 20th

Vacation Days: March 30th - April 3rd

Memorial Day: May 25th

 

Vacation Days & Holidays Subject to change with 2 weeks notice. Please let me know as soon as possible if these days do not work for you, so we can work together to arrange surrogate care.

 

Please Note:You are not responsible for paying for these days. Your tuition is based on the number of childcare-provided days in the year minus 20 vacation/holidays when we are closed. (52 weeks x 5 days = 260 working days. 260 working days - 20 closed days = 240 working days per year. 240/12 months = 20 average working days per month. 20 days x $40/day tuition = $800) If we are unexpectedly ill, you will be reimbursed for any sick days. Our days off are our responsibility.
